What are some common mistakes parents make when buying shoes for their young children, and how can I avoid them?
Asked 3 years ago
Hello, my partner and I have recently had a baby. We are trying to make sure we are covered for everything as things can get crazy once they can walk. What are typical mistakes that parents can make when buying shoes for their kids? Any help would be appreciated.

Congratulations on the good news! It is one of the most exciting thing to see your child walking but before you rush to buy your kid a pair of shoes, ensure the following:
- Make your kid walk barefoot as much as possbile.
- Opt for soft, flexible, lightweight non slip pair.
- Ensure that your kid's feet is correctly measured by professionals.
- Always try the shoes with your kid wearing the socks and make him walk with the shoes around the area.
- Avoid any second hand shoes for your kid.
