How can I tell if a pair of shoes is durable or likely to wear out quickly?
Asked 3 years ago
Hey, I'm looking for a pair of shoes for my daughter that will last her a long time without wearing them out quickly. What should I look for to determine durability in a shoe? Any tips or recommendations on how to tell if a shoe is likely to wear out quickly? I want to make sure I get my money's worth and have a reliable pair of shoes. TYIA

Footwear is a very essential component of our wardrobe that is often neglected. Often we purchase shoes that matches our dresses instead of other important factors that needs to considered such as durability, flexibility to name a few. Signs that can tell you about durability of shoes can be as follows:
- Strong Rigid Sole that can last longer and provide your feet with adequate support to handle the stresses imposed during walking, standing or even walking.
- Stitching around the shoes should be neat and clean that can indicate that the pair of shoes is a brand new.
- Look out for any kind of defects that may have gone unnoticed.
- Opt for shoes in material that will be able to handle different climatic conditions like welt that is more long lasting and water resistant.
