What kind of specialist should I consult if I suspect my child has bow legs and needs treatment?
Asked 3 years ago
Hey, I believe that my child has bow legs and I am wondering what kind of specialist I should consult for treatment. I want to make sure that my child gets the best care possible and has the opportunity to correct this issue before it becomes more serious. Thank you in advance for any advice.

If you suspect that your child has bow legs, the first specialist you should consult is a pediatrician. If additional testing is required, the doctor may recommend you to an orthopedic expert. Your child may also need to see a physical therapist or an occupational therapist once examined by the orthopedics.
