Hi there, my youngest child has bowed legs. I'm curious about how orthotics work to correct bow legs. I've been considering getting them for my child, but I want to know if they're effective and not causing any further harm. Can anyone explain to me how they work? Thank you!

Custom-made orthotics are effective! They reduce the load on stressed tissues and optimise the foot and ankle position by redistributing the forces on the growth plate to establish normal maturity.
