Are there different types of orthotics or shoes for different degrees of bow leg severity?
Asked 2 years ago
Hi, my son has been experiencing discomfort and pain due to his bow legs, and I think orthotics might help him with the problem. However, I'm not sure about the types of orthotics or orthopedic shoes available and if they are specific to the severity of my bow leg condition. Can anyone provide more information on this?

There are no special types of shoes developed for varying degrees of bow leg severity. However, orthopedic shoes or custom-made orthotics may be recommended by your child's doctor to provide additional support and correct any foot abnormalities.
